Despite how ultra-private the highly awaited wedding day of the reel and real life couple Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo is, some reports still managed to make it to the media, showing glimpses of what the ceremony is like.
According to reports, the Song-Song wedding will feature letters from the couple’s dearest friends, Lee Kwang Soo and Yoo Ah In, to be read during the occasion.
“Lee Kwang Soo, who has been a close friend of Song Joong Ki’s since their ‘Running Man‘ days, and Yoo Ah In, who is Song Hye Kyo’s dear friend, will wish them well for the future through readings of letters they have personally penned,” said several insiders.
This has been confirmed by Song Joong Ki’s agency.
The groom-to-be’s close friend, Park Bo Gum, was also reported to serenade the couple with the piano.
The wedding song will be sung by former Fin K.L. member Ock Joo Hyun, according to reports and it will be hosted by one of Song Joong Ki’s long-time friends.
The couple will exchange I do’s on October 31 in a heavily protected private wedding ceremony in Seoul’s Shilla Hotel. Only 250 to 300 guests, composed of the couple’s closest family and friends, are expected to attend the event.
Both Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo’s camps have not released official statements on their wedding details, but reports have surfaced about the couple’s simple wedding invitation, venue, date, and photoshoot, and date in Paris, among others.
The Song-Song wedding will be a completely private one as no media outlets were invited and no press conferences were scheduled after the ceremony.
The October 31 wedding will indeed be an exciting time not only for the couple, but also for the fans who have long wished for them to be together and who got their wish when the couple confirmed that not only were they together in real life but were also planning to tie the knot! Congratulations, Song-Song couple!
