McDonald’s treats K-drama lovers to burgers with funny names

The fastfood giant McDonald’s knows just how big the K-drama trend is these days, so much so that they have made burgers especially designed to entice K-drama lovers.

According to McDonald’s, the Korean-inspired burger is definitely spicy, just like many Korean dishes.

“A kimchi seasoned, juicy grilled beef patty topped with super spicy Korean sauce and crunchy colorful vegetables, served in a warm charcoal bun,” the fast food said of its newest offering.

To further promote their burgers, McDonald’s even made references to some of the most popular K-dramas recently in their billboard signs.

Do you think the newly engaged Song-Song couple would love the witty name for Descendants of the Bun?

Unfortunately, these burgers are only available in Malaysia. Let’s keep hoping other fast food chains in our respective countries will pay attention to these attractively and wittily named burgers.
