Girls’ Generation to drop new album, hold fan meeting to celebrate 10th anniversary

Girls’ Generation, or SNSD, will release their 6th album sometime in August and hold a fan meeting in anticipation of their 10th year in the business.

S.M. Entertainment announced the new album release, but withheld the title. It has been two years since SNSD’s last release of ‘Lion Heart’ in 2015.

However, the agency revealed that SONEs will once again have a chance to come face to face with their idols on August 5 at Seoul’s Olympic Park. It will make the girls’ decade-long presence in the K-pop scene since they debuted on August 5, 2007. SNSD is expected to perform their biggest hits and other activities that will help them and the fans look back on the past 10 years.

Tickets for the fan meet will be available on July 11, 8pm, on Yes24.
