BTS has proven once again that they are about to conquer the world, one international music award at a time.
The Bangtan Boys won the “Favorite International Artist or Group” award at the Kids’ Choice Awards Mexico, as announced by Nickelodeon Mexico on August 19.
The other nominees in the category included international superstars Justin Bieber and Harry Styles.
On August 13, BTS won the “Choice International Artist Award” at the 2017 Teen Choice Awards. The category also had three other K-pop acts as nominees – EXO, Monsta X, and Seventeen.
However, the BTS fans dubbed as the ARMY were not happy with how the award was presented. They even called out the presenter, actress Bella Thorne, for what the fans thought as her rushing through the presentation and not giving BTS the spotlight that they deserve.
In May, BTS won the “Top Social Artist” award during the 2017 Billboard Music Awards, thanks to the dedication of the ARMY who helped the K-pop group win over Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Shawn Mendes, and Ariana Grande.
Congratulations once again, BTS and ARMY!
