We always welcome new additions to the Annyeong network. Joining Annyeong is free, and your blog is yours to do with as you wish; all we ask of you is that your blog’s main focus is on something related to Korea. Whether it’s popular culture, history, recent events, language learning, life in Korea, food, or something else the choice is yours.

Already have a blog? No problem. If it’s hosted on a free or public service (such as blogger, blogspot, wordpress, livejournal, etc) then we do ask that you move it over to Annyeong. Import options are available for many of the sites, so you won’t need to do it page by page manually. Help is available if you are not sure how to do this. If your blog is hosted on your own personal domain, then you don’t need to move it over to Annyeong unless you wish to.

What do you get? You get your own subdomain (yourname.annyeong.net), 1gig of filespace, unlimited bandwidth and FTP access. WordPress will be installed for you, and you will be able to upgrade it, add plugins and install new themes.

The catch? Well, there is none! All we ask is that your blog be mainly (but not necessarily completely) focused on aspects of Korea. It must also be regularly maintained and updated, the frequency of which is up to you as long as it is clear that the blog is still alive.
